We believe in fostering social play and mental stimulation, balanced with rest and relaxation.  At The Dog House, your pup will be grouped with other dogs of similar size and temperament in groups designed to promote constructive play.  With over 2,000 sq. ft. of divided play floor and rotating toys and equipment, it's the perfect place for your furriest best friend to get their wiggles out.  We also provide periods of rest in runs, kennels, or smaller play areas to promote stress reduction and allow for relaxation.  For the well-being of our dogs and pup parents, our ventilation system is specifically designed for animal care facilities to provide higher filtration and a temperature-controlled climate.  Our goal at The Dog House is always to provide a stimulating, enjoyable, and safe environment for your furry friends.  Since we're locally owned and operated, you can trust that we’re always here to answer your questions and address any concerns directly.

Initial Visit

Your dog will be closely evaluated prior to their first stay at a 2-hour temperament test. We’ll introduce them to a space next to, but screened from, our main play area and gradually introduce your pet to selected other dogs. We'll discuss our observations with you and let you know what we think might be a good fit for your dog. There is no charge for the temperament test, but applicable daycare fees will apply for dogs staying longer than 2 hours.

Reservations

​Reservations are strongly recommended for overnight boarding and encouraged for daycare.  We’re a small facility, and space can fill up quickly! 
Cancellation Policy: Non-holiday cancellations must be made at least 24-hours in advance. Holiday cancellations must be made at least 48-hours in advance. We reserve the right to charge a late cancellation fee for those who don’t follow this policy.
For everyone's safety, all guests must comply with our Rules and Regulations.

 Daycare

Whether for a full day or a few hours, our goal is to send home tired, happy pups. We have play equipment and use a variety of rotating toys to foster mental and physical exercise. We alternate play with rest and will rotate dogs into different spaces to avoid overstimulation. Water is always available on the play floor, and our temperature-controlled environment keeps our pack from overheating.

Overnight Boarding

​Can't bring pup with you? We offer overnight boarding 7 days a week, 365 days a year! Your dog will sleep in their own private kennel furnished with a Coolaroo lounger or cushioned bed and individual water bowls at night, and will be individually served breakfast and dinner with food from home or purchased in-house. During the day, they’ll join our daycare guests in our indoor doggie playground for a day of fun and exercise.

Check-out time is within 5 hours of check-in time. Late pick-ups will be charged for a half-day of daycare. For example, if drop-off is at 9am, pick-up is before 2pm on the last day of boarding. If drop-off is at 3pm, pick-up is before closing on the last day of boarding.

Goodies

We offer a variety of goodies and food options for daycare and boarding dogs or to take home. Check out our retail section and treat bar for current selections. For boarding dogs, we also offer in-house food ($3/cup) and peanut butter kong treats ($3 small / $5 large) during their stay.

Pick-up & Drop-Off
